Ian Alexander

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of NZAFI Life Member, Ian Alexander. Ian devoted many hours of his expert knowledge to helping a number of members within the NZAFI. Many of us worked alongside Ian, and many of us have learnt from his wisdom and knowledge - we were lucky to have him as a part of this association and he will be missed by many.
Our thoughts go out to Ian’s family at this incredibly difficult time.
Graeme Still
4 November 1960 - 11 September 2024
It is with great sadness we advise the sudden passing of Graeme Still (FENZ Wildfire Specialist). Graeme was an incredibly valuable member of the FENZ Wildfire team and Fire and Emergency NZ family. Graeme always had plenty of stories to share and free tips for anyone willing to listen from his life experiences having worked around forestry and wildfire for many years. Graeme will be missed by many.
